About Me

Hello, I’m Aneta (Annette’a). Nice to meet you!

As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I believe that food is medicine and the way you eat influences your well-being. Certain health problems can be adjusted by changing your lifestyle and nutrition. There is a common belief that all the misalignments start from a compromised digestive system.

It is not only about acquiring knowledge as you can google everything but actually doing it. The biggest problem is motivation and following what you know.

I had the same problem myself. I knew what I should do but had never done that because it was easier not to do it. Unless I was in pain or discomfort, I was adjusting some things but there was only a small percentage of what I intended to do.

So if you are like me, you need somebody who will help you. Health coaching is about finding your big motivation for even bigger transformation and finding your optimal health through a process of different adjustments. There are different dietary recommendations depending on your health problems according to a functional nutrition guidance.

With a good health and internal balance, you can have more success in your life.

My Bio

I am an educator by my heart and profession. Growing up in the family of academics, I was exposed to the idea of serving and supporting others. When I got my graduate degree in education, I made sure I used my parents’ wisdom.

The road to whole food nutrition was long but I got the first-hand experience.  I practiced on myself all different protocols related to food sensitivities, estrogen dominance, and adrenal exhaustion. Having an inquisitive nature helped me to get to the root of my problems. Knowing the cause made easier to work on my symptoms and started feeling better.

I have been an entrepreneur for past 12 years. I was running a medical billing company and thought it would be my way to success. There was high level of stress, long hours in front of the computer, lots of mundane tasks and no movement. I was extremely busy and didn’t have time for myself. Running my own business was financially rewarding but also very challenging.

I was a very passionate person and when I had my heart into something, I would do it. It was my drive during most of those years. But my health started deteriorating, I had a lot of aches and pains due to immobility and I was mentally exhausted. Slowly but steadily the business I loved became my prison. I had a zero tolerance for feeling powerless and that was the time when I strongly felt that. The doctors couldn’t give me solutions to my health problems, for them it was a part of aging. Being in my 40-ies I felt older but not that old. Other physical symptoms started popping up and more and more I heard the word “surgery”.

That time, I knew I needed to do something. My glass of wine or two was not helping with de-stressing. Walking for 20 minutes on Sundays was not an exercise. I also started experiencing more issues with my digestive system, that’s when I discovered I had gluten sensitivity and lactose intolerance plus total dysbiosis.

I started changing my mindset in order to change my life. The first thing that struck me was to learn that women in similar situation to mine experienced more of pelvic issues. Lack of movement, creativity, nurturing, continuous stress and anxiety and feeling trapped were what I felt the most.

My first step was changing my food. I had to do it because of constant pain due to gluten sensitivity and lactose intolerance. The total makeover of the pantry didn’t happen overnight but slowly and steadily I was replacing all products. I started growing my food in the garden, going more often to the farmers market and learning about my own body and how it reacted to different things.

Nowadays, I can say I am following the clean eating principles and giving my body what it needs. My household is free of chemicals. I introduced a lot of movement into my life and meditation with pranayama for relaxation. I practice yoga daily as I noticed it helps me to stay focused and have a clear mind.

At this point, I am ready to help other professionals with their journey to the healthier version of themselves.

My formal training includes M.A. in Education, a title of Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, credentials by American Association of Drugless Professionals, and extensive training into functional nutrition under Andrea Nakayama in Functional Nutrition Alliance.

My clients – driven professionals, all unique and different but one thing unites them all, a search for zest and balance.
